My Opinion about Boarding School

Boarding
school is an institution where students and teachers live and study together
in a campus environment. In short, it is a school where student lives and
sleep. In Boarding school, the students are not only taught about the usual
course, but also taught about: socialization, character building, self-reliance, cultural diversity, even a wide range of extracurricular.
The students will live at school and interact with the other students for 24 hours; it will
form their ability to socialize. Character building in boarding school is
more effective than public school because the student will practice it in their
everyday life. Boarding school students will complete school assignments by
themselves and become experts at managing their time --They tend to be more
independent. Furthermore, when they live with other students from a variety of
cultures, they learn to appreciate and respect the difference. Some of the boarding
schools also offer a wide range of extracurricular to broaden their learning such as archery, self-defense, marching band, etc.
However, sending your children to boarding school also has
drawbacks. The student will spend most of their time at school, not at home.
They will be separated from their family; there will be a gap between their
relationships. Other than that, boarding school fees are very expensive. I
will consider about sending my children away to a boarding school. If I were rich and my children were naughty, I would send them to boarding school, but if not, I wouldn't send them.
